Do I have to be dilated?

For most patients, dilation can be avoided by taking advantage of the Optomap technology available at Northwest Vision. Optomap exams are performed by capturing a digital image of your retina that you and your doctor can go over together in the exam room. Nothing touches your eye during this process, and no dilation drops are needed. This exciting new service is not covered by insurance but can be performed for an additional charge. Please ask your technician for additional information during your exam.
