William W. Waugh, D.O.

Dr. Waugh Allow us to introduce our newest physician, Dr. William Waugh, who recently joined our practice. Dr. Waugh compliments Northwest Vision Institute's position of leading-edge eye care and expertise by bringing over 30 years of experience to join our award winning team. A board certified Ophthalmologist since 1981 and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology since 1999, Dr. Waugh has also served as an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Michigan State University and is on the Editorial Board of Annals of Ophthalmology.

His professional associations include the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American Society of Contemporary Ophthalmology, the Washington Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, the Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and the American Osteopathic Association. He has also been a guest speaker at several national conferences.

In addition to the everyday challenges of general ophthalmology, Dr. Waugh has a special interest in the rapidly expanding field of rejuvenation of the aging face. We look forward to the exciting prospects and expanded patient care his arrival will afford our patients.

Dr Waugh and his wife have had a boat on Lake Union for several years and enjoy cruising in Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands. He also enjoys woodworking as a hobby and he states "I live for the weekend editions of the New York Times crossword puzzles".
