Dr. Gilbert founded Northwest Vision Institute in 1991 with a vision to provide comprehensive eye care to all on the Eastside, and added Northwest Laser & Surgery Center in 2010 to further this goal.
He grew up biking around Seattle and still loves cycling in the sunshine or on trips around the world. He is very proud of his kids and grandkids and has photos of them on every possible wall and screen background.
Dr. Gilbert absolutely loves helping patients, but when he’s not in the office, you can find him singing away in the Bellevue Presbyterian Church Choir on Sunday mornings!
